What You’ll Do

Similan Islands Tour from Khao Lak, Similan Islands Snorkeling Day Trip

08:00 Arriving at the pier after your Hotel picks up, to check in with our tour staff, assist at the tour briefing and select your masks and snorkels, meet our tour guide. Enjoy a light breakfast ready for you.

At 08:30 We depart for the Similan islands and we arrive on the first islands for a great time of snorkeling and swimming around islands n 5 and 6.

At 12:00 we will be relaxing on the beach to enjoy a great Thai style lunch on the island n 4, so we will continue the tour to reach another amazing spot and to enjoy snorkeling around island n 9.

Around 14:00 we visit and climb on top of the famous symbol of the islands, the sailing rock, a great viewpoint with stunning view for your final photos in Koh Similan, here on the island n 8; we will also spend some relaxing moments here before leaving back for the mainland.

Around 17:00 we will arrive at Tap Lamu pier for your transfer by minibus back to your hotel.

What to Expect

Similan islands consist of nine islands known for long white coral sand beaches, crystal blue waters and providing some of the best scenery in Thailand.

The islands are home to a huge variety of marine life of which many are rare and endangered species. It also has beautiful white coral-sand beaches, splendidly picturesque and often deserted and the most interesting sights, however, are to be found beneath the waves.

This speedboat tour to Similan islands is a day trip that starts from Khao Lak and with it: you discover the crystal clear waters and the amazing aquatic life of the Similan islands.

Some of the most spectacular coral growths in the world can be found here and the same boulders that scatter the shores have turned the waters around the Similans into an adventure playground for divers. The islands are home to crab-eating monkeys, dusky langurs, squirrels, bats, lizards and a good variety of birds (though the monkeys are shy and rarely seen by the casual observer). You are bound to enjoy your adventure on this tour and catch the amazing moments in photographs.

On the west side of the islands, currents have kept the formations clear of sand and on the coral-covered sandy slopes of the east side; the boulders have been largely buried. Snorkeling and swimming around colorful coral fishes and sea turtle as well as sunbathing are some amazing activities to engage in on this tour. The snorkeling guide will be there to take care of you, so don’t worry if you have never done snorkeling before you will find it fun and lovely.
