We Visit Bangkok’s famous floating market before the journey will bring you to the infamous Bridge on the River Kwai. This Bangkok River Kwai day trip first stop is Damnoen Saduak to show you how locals and travelers shop at the notorious floating markets. We will show you all the narrow canal stuffed with food stalls or souvenir shops for all your eyes joy at Ton Kem, as well we will visit also the southern part to the real authentic markets of Her Kui, Khun Pitak.

After visiting the markets, let’s witness the history of Khwae Yai and its well known Bridge on the River Kwai. This bridge was built during World War II by thousands of allied prisoners with hard and forced human labor. in fact as you can visit the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery you will notice an estimated 9,000 Allied soldiers died in the constructing of the “Death Railway”. With authenticity of history we can witness touching pictures and hundreds of artifacts from this incredible event, all stored carefully in the JEATH Museum which is also called in Thailand the Wat Tai War Museum.
