Full Day Doi Inthanon National Park Tour

08:30 hrs Meet your English-speaking guide for the day tour in your hotel’s lobby and let’s start this unique Doi Inthanon national park tour. We visit Doi Inthanon National Park, Thailand’s highest mountain (2565 meters measured above sea level), this place offers unique scenery and evergreen mountain fully covered with forests, groves of famous dwarf rhododendron with very rare birdlife, impressive waterfalls.

On this one day tour, stops are the following: the summit, containing the shrine of Chao Inthawitchayanon, he was the former prince of the province of Chiang Mai. Also, we will take a short trek along Michael’s Trail to show you how this natural park offers a beautiful, truly unforgettable experience.

Next, we visit the great twin royal pagodas which were built for the highness Majesties of the King and the Queen of the Kingdom of Thailand. The place provides a fantastic view of the surrounding.

Lunch will be at a local Thai restaurant. Continuing the Doi Inthanon national park day trip we now visit Doi Inthanon Royal Project. This is one of many current royal-sponsored projects for cultural reeducation. This one, in particular, was initiated to accustomed with hill tribe people, to support the tribes with new agricultural capability.

All guests can view the flower nurseries and cultivation areas. We will also visit the famous Karen hill tribe village for observation into their natural day lifestyle. They are peace-loving warriors. Very industrious and faithful community tribe. On the way back you will also see the picturesque Vachirathan waterfall. Transfer back to the hotel late afternoon.
